xampp gmail account mail-in environment (POP over SSL) can not be without, you examine,
it was only off by settings in php.ini.
"; Extension = php_openssl.dll" just moved in to take a semicolon.
However, if you have multiple php.ini or which is actually being used, phpinfo () always better to check.
